Wikicompany was a free, community built, open content worldwide business directory. It was based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and was founded 2005 by Jama Poulsen, who edited under the username Walden. An article page entitled Wikicompany v Wikipedia details the rationale for starting the Wikicompany wiki, and highlights the main differences between it and the English Wikipedia.
This wiki has been offline since early-mid 2012.
