Bonjour Mark et Ted. Just a link on our last barcamp in paris. If you have ms-windows you could test this firefox-plugin tails export which is useful to show some "hcalendars-format" on the wiki, in human terms it will show you others events in the world. I'm not sure but I think we could bridge some "tags/categories" with microformats. Currently thinking about the creation of a world wine wiki index, I discovered we could create any formats like this wine-format written for wine review : http://www.simplebits.com/notebook/2006/06/10/wineformats.html. So my suggestion here would be just to talk about the future of pairing wikireview and microformats ? -- Christophe Ducamp | <small>talk</small>05:12, 16 June 2006 (EDT)

Bonjour. Gregoire is very nice french guy just arriving on FractalWiki:FR/Microformats (where I'm currently testing wiki-hCard and hCalendar... not very clean I know because it's just html-dropping). My feeling is that microformats in wiki could be huge. "WikiIndex could become a name-space reference to quote wikis on the web as you can use "rel-tag" and mention wikipedia". People identity could be automocally hcarded via the nice forms you've installed.
Bonjour. Gregoire is very nice french guy just arriving on FractalWiki:FR/Microformats (where I'm currently testing wiki-hCard and hCalendar... not very clean I know because it's just html-dropping). My first feeling is that microformats in wiki could be huge and especially the "rel-tag" microformat. IMO, WikiIndex could become an interesting web-platform especially on :
My suggestion would be - if you have a bit of time - to talk directly to ChrisMessina/and or TantekCeliki which are currently activist on these "code fragments". Afaik they don't feel very satisfied of Mediawiki. The easy way to reach them is pehraps the #microformats channel on freenode ? You know i'm completely illiterate in code-programming, but would be happy if we could imagine a way to automatically migrate StructuredData in standards Microformats. Let's say I'm still enthusiast to continue this exploration. Regards.  --- Christophe Ducamp | <small>talk</small> 11:43, 29 June 2006 (EDT)
* rel-tag microformat:consider WikiIndex as a Tag-Space to invite people to tag each time they quote wikis on the web ?
* hCard for people identity :could be automocally hcarded via the nice forms you've installed.
* hReview for wikis, and books
* ...

This is just a first exploration, I'm a real newbie on this question. But my suggestion would be to invite you to talk/ask in the #microformat channel on freenodes. The idea could be to talk on the way to automatically transform any StructuredData typed by the user in your forms to standards Microformats. Let's say I'm still enthusiast to continue this exploration. Regards.  --- Christophe Ducamp | <small>talk</small> 11:43, 29 June 2006 (EDT)
