WackoWiki is a small, lightweight, multilingual, free and open source (FOSS) wiki engine. WackoWiki is derived, or forked from Wakka, is compiled in PHP, and initially used only MySQL for data storage. The latest releases also support MariaDB, in addition to its original MySQL. As of July 2021, WackoWiki is still in active development. It supports WYTIWYG (what you type is what you get) editing, many localisations, e-mail notification on changes/comments, several cache levels, design themes (skins) support, HTML5 compliance, page rights (access control list - ACL), page comments.
Originally available in only Russian, WackoWiki has subsequently been internationalised, and as of 2022, is available in twenty (20) interface languages.
