Welcome to WikiIndex! We hope you will contribute, no matter what your computer and language skills are.
For the basics on creating and editing articles on the WikiIndex, please see WikiIndex:Help. This site uses MediaWiki software, very similar to Wikipedia and Wikicities. If you are already familiar with those wikis, you will already know how to edit and get around.
Discussion or questions about a particular page can be made on the "discussion" page associated with that article/category/User page. If it's a general matter not confined to a single page, see Talk:Wiki_Index. Please sign and date your contributions by typing ~~~~ at the end of your message so that readers know "who to talk to".
If you see the message "You have new messages." at the top of a page, it means that someone has left a message for you on your discussion page. If you edit a member's User discussion page, they will be the one seeing the same message.
One way you can help is to keep an eye on the recent changes, where all recent edits and their authors are listed. Anonymous edits, especially, may need checking in case they are spam or vandalism.
If you'd like to tell us a little about yourself, such as how you discovered this site or which wikis you are familiar with, you can add that information to your user page.
