Does WikiIndex need this extension?

Hi John, as I dicovered last time with "my own" MediaWiki 1.9.3, extensions seem to consume a lot of cpu resources. I deleted one of three extensions and the wiki began "to fly". Maybe one should check this..., maybe I'm wrong...--Wolf | talk 14:55, 15 March 2007 (PDT)

I'm checking the extensions now. CPU Load seems to be spiking, taking the server down periodically. John 20:56, 3 May 2008 (EDT)
We need this InputBox extension to create new wiki entries with default content. It's used at Community Portal. BTW: the extension Dynamic Page List (DPL) was helpful for upgrading pages about wikis, but this extension (DPL) seems to produce a lot of CPU load. --Wolf | talk 06:44, 11 May 2008 (EDT)
I removed the DPL extension on the 3rd of May and we have not had a serious spike since then. I agree that we need the Input box extension and I'll keep it in.John 11:20, 11 May 2008 (EDT)
