Template talk:Uncyclopedia
I don't think plainlinks is a good idea, because now there's no way to tell these are external links. I'm not actually certain we need the external links in this template at all, but if they're here, it seems they should be visible as such. TedErnst | talk 01:00, 23 June 2006 (EDT)
Uncyclomedia Foundation, other mirrors, names of projects
I've made deep revert becouse:
- Uncommons is not affiliated with any language verion of Uncyclopedia.
- NonNews, Hikinews and other are not UnNews in Polish and Finnish. They are separated, and have their own names.
- Meta and babel on uncyclopedia.info are privite Carlb's wikis, not affiliated with any other projects.
- Carlb or some kind of his friend should stop spamming with that privite wikis.
- In my version sister projects are sorted by language code, coz everybody wanted to be first.

Maybe we should create an Uncyclomedia template of sorts. – Smiddle / T·C·@ 00:23, 3 January 2007 (PST)
- For two pages, UnMeta and UnCommons? Hmm. Separating them from other Uncys is a good idea thought. Szoferka 02:39, 3 January 2007 (PST)
34, or 32?
If I haven't counted wrong, (which I probably have...) there are 34 Uncyclopedias in this template index, but there are 32 interwikilinks. Somebody? – Smiddle / T·C·@ 13:25, 23 January 2007 (PST)
{{#language:}}
We could use this to generate language names easier, e.g.
- {{#language:es}} = español
- {{#language:sv}} = svenska
- {{#language:en}} = English

- How does this work? Any examples anywhere else? Sean, aka Hoof Hearted • Admin • talk2HH 14:22, 6 March 2013 (PST)
- Okay, interesting coding, but sadly, WikiIndex does not have the depth of users who are proficient on a wide multilingual ability. I personally have no idea how to type in arabic script, nor any other non-Roman script. So I have (reluctantly) reverted back to a conventional Roman plain text.
