Wikibooks – open books for an open world (original tagline: Think free. Learn free.) – is a collection of open content textbooks and manuals, and is a major linguistic edition 'project' of the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF). The Wikibooks wiki project was started 10 July 2003 – originally stylised WikiBooks, and on 21 July 2004, was split into separate wiki sites for sub-domains of various languages. Wikibooks is now also the home of Wikijunior.
