How to use wiki for your projects

via O'Reilly Network comes a good basic Wiki 101 article:

"This article was written using a wiki, as were most of the 100 hacks in our book, Mind Hacks." ... "They're messy, immediate, and a powerful way of sharing thinking space with your collaborators.

More and more creative ideas are being thought of every day. WikiBios allow people to create a stub of a biography and then have their friends, family and co-workers edit it to perfection … or honesty! I’m not sure what Wiki Engine it uses, but what is neat is that they’ve gone beyond basic wiki added functionality that really makes this specific application sing. For example, on a given page, you’ll see links for “People I know”, “Bio’s I’ve edited” and “My Editors”. That’s rich because allows the user to quickly browse around various circles of people. I’m impressed and think this will do well. comment
