However, probably due to the fact that the subject is still largely considered "embarassing", information on this genre is still rather scattered. In the past years, some individuals - contemporary spanking artists and fans - have begun to help the situation by assembling pieces of information and making them available on public websites. Now the mission statement for this wiki is to combine our distributed knowledge in one place.
