Description

Contains summaries of academic books and articles, especially those relevant to political science. Most of the original 500 summaries began as the site administrator's personal notes; as such, the site currently has a closed copyright, though this may change if other editors begin making significant contributions to the wiki. Given the small base of users interested in updating a database of arcane scholarly works--mainly PhD students--potential contributors must email the administrator to request a username and password. There is no automated registration form.

The site employs a modified MediaWiki in which articles are viewed at a different URL from where they are edited. This modification has the incidental effect of preventing unregistered users from accessing special pages, as special pages are viewable only at the back-end URL. In time, the administrator hopes to make special pages viewable through the canonic URL.
