Description

This wiki tries to connect people and organisations that work against violence. It is the English twin of NetzwerkGegenGewalt, which is still very much at the start.

The basic idea is that violence should be treated like environmental pollution - there will be no way to get rid of violence, but one can try to keep inside acceptable limits. There are many kinds of violence, not just physical violence. There are many unacceptable ways to increase violence, for example by popularizing poisonous memes like "strong hero", "violence solves problems" and "we are the good" by Hollywood entertainment.
