The Baltimore Collective
a community recollection of things uniquely Baltimore
(Maryland US) BaltoCo.org
Although years in development, theoretically, The Baltimore Collective wiki archive site is launching formally & publicly on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the Enoch Pratt free Library in downtown Baltimore, in the beautiful & historic Edgar Allan Poe Room there.
An ambitious project, the collective promises to document Baltimore's eclectic cultural past and present, with an emphasis on the alternative or experimental arts — as evinced on our Art_Spaces & Film_Video category pages. At this time, our most important page is the SITE_MAP category page, which lists many categories & wiki articles in various states of completion, or not.
The project is being built on MediaWiki. Principle developer and curator is life-long Baltimorean (or Baltimoron) Richard Tryzno Ellsberry, in collaboration with his girlfriend & the many creative folks around Baltimore MD US.
