Wikisource – The Free Library — is a collection of wikis, known as a 'project' of the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF), for primary- and secondary-source texts, in many different languages. Launched in 2003 as a library of free texts called 'Project Sourceberg', by 2005 it branched out into its various language versions. It now includes house books, essays, poems, novels, historical documents, letters, speeches, and other documents; as long as they are able be made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-BY-SA) open content license.
