Since we certainly would not want every little troll to be able to delete wiki pages that we carefully created, I see the need to verify the validity of the request. For example the [[leader]] of the Wiki in question would have to make the request. And to verify the validity he/she/it would have to repeat this request on their Wiki under the name of that leader. that, of course, would seemingly make it impossible for dead Wikis to opt out ;-) Only in case of a dead [[bliki]] it should be possible to verify the identity of the leader, because "There could be only one" and that one would easily be identifiabel.
