ShoutWiki is a free, ad-supported wiki hosting service. They offer three different types of a wiki, of which each one has different features: public wikis, private wikis and school/university wikis.

There are backups for some of the ShoutWiki wikis at Internet Archive.
Future
ShoutWiki has been rumoured by staff to not be coming back.
