Description
ICANNWiki supports the membership of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), an internationally organized, non-profit corporation that has responsibility for Internet Protocol (IP) address space allocation, protocol identifier assignment, generic (gTLD) and country code (ccTLD) Top-Level Domain name system management, and root server system management functions.
The ICANNWiki provides a forum for issues that concern ICANN members and provides a page for each member that contains biographical data, a picture and a charitcature of the member. ICANN has a world wide membership and ICANNWiki helps put names to faces and gives voice to members on issues even when meeting are not in progress.
IDN wikis
As of October 2007, ICANN is operating IDNwiki as a series of Unicode test wikis at http://idn.icann.org and a set of IDN URL's corresponding to example.test in 11 language scripts - a total of 12 wikis.
