Thomas is a tank engine, and the main protagonist of Thomas Tales. He lives on the island of Sodor. Thomas has a branch line, and two passenger coaches named Annie and Clarabel. He is cheeky and fussy. Thomas is best friends with Percy.

Percy is a tank engine, and the deuteragonist of Thomas Tales. He is the junior member of the principal team of engines. Percy's favorite job is delivering the mail. He is best friends with Thomas.

Duck

Duck is a tank engine, and a supporting character in Thomas Tales. He comes from the Great Western Railway. Duck's real name is Montague, and he was nicknamed "Duck" because they say he "waddles". Duck stands no nonsense whatsoever from larger engines who try to order him about.
