Trac, also known as the Trac Open Source Project is a wiki engine compiled in the Python programming language from Edgewall Software. Trac is also a software project management and bug/issue tracking system. It supports SQLite, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases. Trac is open source software, and is distributed for free under the modified BSD License.[1]
The primary 'meta' wiki for the Trac wiki engine is called TracWiki, located at https://Trac.Edgewall.org/wiki/TracWiki

Trac was the winner of the Best Linux/OSS Developer Tool category at the UK Linux & Open Source Awards 2006, held in London.[2]
