Hyphen . . . or not[edit]

Currently one of the sub-categories of Category:Fiction is Category:Science fiction. I REALLY want to change that sub-category to Category:Science-fiction (ie. hyphenate instead of blank space in middle). Is it ok if i change the category FROM "Science fiction" TO "Science-fiction"? --EarthFurst (talk) 10:19, 7 August 2017 (PDT)

According to the official Oxford English Dictionary, science fiction – ie, unhyphenated (with a blank space between the two words) is correct. I think only its abbreviation - sci-fi, is abbreviated. Best. Sean, aka Hoof HeartedAdmin / 'Crattalk2HH 15:23, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
