TestWiki is a project with a friendly community that provides an environment for users to experiment with administrator permissions, templates, extensions, and other features provided by the MediaWiki software. Several extensions and features have been custom built for TestWiki, including a simulated CheckUser extension and integration with IntenseDebate. Some other notable features include the ability to test the book creator and the WikiLove extension.
In addition to providing a testing environment, TestWiki also provides training programs to help users familiarize themselves with running a community.
