Mechelen Mapt is een wiki over Mechelen. De site is een initiatief van vrijwilligers en heeft geen winstoogmerk. Het staat iedereen vrij te bewerken, maar vele pagina's zijn beveiligd tegen spam, dus het is sterk aangeraden een gebruikersaccount aan te maken.

Mechelen Mapt is a Flemish non-commercial wiki about the city and municipality of Mechelen (Mechlin/Malines), a Flemish/Belgian city. The website is an idea of volunteers who are closely related to its sister blog-site "Mechelen Blogt". The purpose of the wiki is to collect as much information as possible, in order to create a publicly accessible electronic "library" about every corner of the city. The language of the wiki is Dutch, which is much alike Flemish. Though, everyone is still free to add an English translation. It's highly recommended to have an account, because many of the wiki's pages are protected against spam.
