The Encyclopervia section of United Kingdom-hosted website Informed Consent is a combined encyclopedia, dictionary and glossary of BDSM and Fetish terms. The articles are derived from the free-content London Fetish Scene Wipipedia and the Wikipedia. The Encyclopervia, Wipipedia and Wikipedia are covered by the GNU Free Documentation License.
Anyone can add or edit articles about any area that they feel they have knowledge about or a valid contribution to make. If you read an article that you feel could be improved or has mistakes in it please feel free to make changes. This needs to be done on the Wipipedia website, and there are links near the bottom of each Encyclopervia page to the Wipipedia version. The Wipipedia's Getting Started guide is a good place to start, and any changes you make will appear in the Encyclopervia too within 12 hours.
We've also added some extra options for the benefit of users of Informed Consent, such as the ability to use tags like [about=Bondage]tying people up[/about] to embed links to articles and definitions in your own posts and weblogs written in ICcode.
In 2007, Encyclopervia was renamed IC : BDSM Dictionary.[1] It was taken offline sometime after December 2009.[2]
