The UK LGBT Archive (created June 2011 as LGBT History UK with URI http://lgbthistoryuk.org/wiki/ and re-launched under its present name December 2015) is an extensive wiki which aims to build to a comprehensive history of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) people, places, organisations and events in the United Kingdom ( England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland).

It is based on principles similar to Wikipedia, but takes a much more relaxed attitude to what is regarded as a "notable" subject for inclusion. Articles are generally written to a very high standard of presentation and content, and contain good references to reliable sources. Furthermore, articles are presented in an extremely well balanced style of prose, maintaining a consistent neutral point of view.
