It was originally intended to become an independent ''Ratchet & Clank'' encyclopedia, but after a partnership with the [[Ratchet & Clank wiki|''Ratchet & Clank'' wiki]] was created (ending several disputes) Ratchetpedia's role was changed to become a community hub, becoming a ''Ratchet & Clank'' resource site for fans.
