This project has the long-term objective to become a complete and up-to-date '''worldwide [[:Category:Travel guide|travel guide]]''', the contributions of which come from '[[Meta-Wiki:Wikivoyage/Wikivoyager|Wikivoyagers]]' all over the globe.  [[:Category:Wikivoyage|Wikivoyage]] wants to fulfil the need of travellers to obtain up-to-date [[:Category:Information|information]] as fast as possible, something that long [[:Category:Books|book]]-publishing cycles can't seem to meet.
