'''Standard''' (also known as '''Classic''') was one of the skins originally bundled with [[:Category:MediaWiki|MediaWiki]] by default.  Before the introduction of [[:Category:Monobook|Monobook]] in 2004, 'Classic' was the default skin for all [[:Category:Wikimedia Foundation|Wikimedia Foundation]] (WMF) wiki sites.  Classic or Standard was based on the SkinLegacy class, and resembled the look of the {{Mw|Phase II}} software.  Standard was removed in {{Mw|MediaWiki 1.22}} in 2013, along with [[:Category:Simple|Simple]], [[:Category:Chick|Chick]], and [[:Category:MySkin|MySkin]] ([[WM-Gerrit:r/c/mediawiki/core/+/25170|Gerrit #Ia6d73c]]), and has now been archived.  Standard is not compatible with {{Mw|MediaWiki 1.25}} and higher.
