Purpose

This shortcut template is used to show readers here on this WikiIndex wiki that there is an article page of the same, or similar subject-matter on the English Wikipedia (En.Wp) wiki site.

Differently named articles

For English Wikipedia articles which have a different pagename to that used here on WikiIndex, use a pipe, | within the template code, and add the actual Wikipedia article name after the pipe. For example, for our article on wiki engines (actually ours is a category page), the English Wikipedia site name their corresponding article Wiki software:
