A stub is a wiki article page (or any other namespace page) which has been deemed as being too short or incomplete. An article or other namespace page may be categorised as a stub if there are a few missing fields (three or less) from any infoboxes; or more likely, if the articles' prose is so short, it fails to adequately and fully describe its subject matter.
Articles are automatically included into category:Stubs (or one of its more appropriate sub-categories) by using the {{stub}} template, or one of its more specific stub templates, at the top of its edit box on the relevant page here on WikiIndex.
