Please see: seeCambridge-Dictionary dictionary definition of the same or similar name or subject on the Cambridge Dictionary international English dictionary website.

Purpose

This shortcut template is used to show readers here on this WikiIndex wiki site that there is a dictionary definition page of the same, or similar subject-matter on the external international English dictionary website from Cambridge Dictionary, a global authority on the English language.

Usage

Code
{{SeeCambridge-Dictionary}}
Output
Please see: seeCambridge-Dictionary dictionary definition of the same or similar name or subject on the Cambridge Dictionary international English dictionary website.

Differently named pages

For Cambridge Dictionary definition which has a different pagename to that used here on WikiIndex, use a pipe (|) within the template code, and add the actual Cambridge Dictionary definition name after the pipe. For example, we occasionally refer to the word 'portmanteau', but the Cambridge Dictionary definition is 'portmanteau word', crucially, its URL target is portmanteau-word, so in order to correctly link to the required page, we need to manipulate the template as follows.

Code
{{SeeCambridge-Dictionary|portmanteau-word|portmanteau}}
Output
Please see: portmanteau-word dictionary definition of the same or similar name or subject on the Cambridge Dictionary international English dictionary website.
