Inspired by Wikipedia, Wikicars is propelled by car enthusiasts with a distinct North American flavour flavor and opinion, working collaboratively to create a comprehensive source of information about all things automotive. By all things automotive, we mean information about topics such as:

Well...you get the idea. The word "cars" and "car culture" are merely shorthand for the wonderful ability to venture out on one's own into the world. We want Wikicars to cover it all: if it primarily moves on wheels, has a means of propulsion, and the ability to transport you or your friends and family-- bring it on.

Wikicars does not reflect global opinions, merely those of North America, and does not include opinion from other English-speaking nations such as the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, etc.
Many images on Wikicars are breaching the copyright restrictions of their respective owners.
Wikicars does not seem to have (or implement) any kind of spam control measures - as most 'recent changes' show clear and blatant spamming, and many 'talk' pages are riddled with spam. Now part of the 'Internet Brands - Automotive' organisation.
