Wikigogy runs the [[MediaWiki]] wiki software with the goal of creating a free body of consensus build  and informative meterial for TESOL/TEFL/TESL, including articles on how to teach, teaching lesson materials, teaching tips, and comprehensive worldwide and regionally specific teaching tips and notes.
Note: English in this context is sometimes referred to as ESL, EFL or EAL (English as an Additional Language), and, adding T for Teaching: TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), TEFL or TEAL.

Wikigogy runs on the same open source WikiMedia software that Wikipedia.org and Wikitravel.org do, for open information collaboration on the Web. Wikigogy's [http://wikigogy.org/Special:Version version page] shows the PHP, MediaWiki and MySQL versions we are running.
