RationalWikiWikiWiki, or RWWW, sought to critique and mock RationalWiki (RW) and RationalWikiWiki (RWW), and to host discussions deemed too Wikis with a strong viewpoint for those sites. It is one of a series of RationalWikiWikiWikis that have been set up over the years. Founded on 1 September FoundedIn2012, this site was shut down on 11 September 2012, due to a warning from the site's Provo, Utah-based webhost (responding to a tip provided by a RWW user) that "adult content," such as an essay questioning the logic behind laws establishing the current age of sexual consent, would not be tolerated.  This was deemed to require abandoning the site's goal because the terms of service specified prohibited content in terms so nebulous as to make it impossible to know whether one was in violation or not, if even political expression were to be declared too racy. http://nathania.org/wiki/Essay:Adult_content
The site was founded by a RationalWiki user, Tisane, also known as Leucosticte, who was blocked from RationalWiki after creating a firestorm of angry protest over an essay questioning the illegal status of child-adult sex. RWWW remained, for a time, the main archive of content from RationalWikiWiki. On 19 June 2014, the site was taken down "permanently."

The RWW user who made the report described the RWWW site owner as "morally bankrupt" and stated, "I do not believe in 'freedom of speech', when it could be used against the innocent", a reference to the perceived need to protect minors not only by forcibly preventing them from implementing their own decisions concerning use of their own bodies, but by suppressing any speech that would oppose the laws authorizing and mandating such government intervention. Some RWW users had also criticized the RWWW site owner for using a CC-by-SA-licensed image from their site without their permission, and for giving the site a name that was a derivative of RationalWikiWiki's.  They complained that this was inappropriate, since the site was used for the voicing of opinions not representative of the views of RWW editors.  The irony of a site whose own name was a derivative of RationalWiki, and which devoted itself to critiquing and mocking that wiki, complaining about another site doing the same to it, seemed to escape them, as did the fact that the creation of an independent wiki for the purpose of agreeing with RWW would be pointless.  The necessity of a fork arises when there are irreconcilable disagreements about site policy or content, and someone wants to break free of the restrictions imposed by those in control of a wiki by establishing a new wiki.
Following a hard drive crash, it was discovered that the only backups of the site had been corrupted. Even these backups, however, were lost in an 18 July 2018 burglary.

<!--http://rationalwikiwikiwiki.org/wiki/Special:AncientPages-->
When a person (unrelated to the site) clicks on any of its links, a MediaWiki 'special page' opens, displaying the following message:
<center><blockquote>ATTENTION, RATIONALWIKIWIKIWIKI READERS AND EDITORS<br>This site has been shut down.<br><br>If you already had an account, and there's content you posted that you want to retrieve, go ahead and retrieve it. If you were an anonymous user, and you need an account to be created for you so you can retrieve your content, email<br>[email protected].</blockquote></center>
It goes on to state that: You must log in to view other pages. Links to download the database and file system are also provided. The site is considered to have a "goal reached" status since the page notes that in light of RWWW users' opponents' unwillingness to debate in any forum whatsoever, or to even allow their opponents to express their views on their own site without interference, in accordance with Larson's Law said opponents can be deemed to have been conceded all controverted topics. However, the site has been left in place as a memorial to the achievement.

RationalWikiWikiWiki, or RWWW, sought to critique and mock RationalWiki (RW) and RationalWikiWiki (RWW), and to host information and discussions apparently banned from those sites. It is one of a series of RationalWikiWikiWikis that have been set up over the years.

Following a hard drive crash, it was discovered that the only backups of the site had been corrupted. Even these backups, however, were lost in an 18 July 2018 burglary.[1]
