JD-Wiki is the Joomla! integration of DokuWiki. DokuWiki is a standards compliant, simple to use wiki engine, mainly aimed at creating documentation of any kind. It is targeted at developer teams, workgroups, and small companies. It has a simple but powerful syntax, which makes sure the data-files remain readable outside the wiki, and eases the creation of structured texts.

JD-Wiki has an access control list (ACL) permission system which use the Joomla! ACL Groups: Super Administrator, Administrator, Manager, Author, Registered, and Public. For each Group you can set permissions for: Read, Edit, Create, Upload, and Delete.
