WikiIndex:Adding Pictures – to add a picture, images (or other media file) to an article here on this WikiIndex wiki site, you must first upload the picture in any standard file format to this WikiIndex.org site, using the Upload file link in the 'tools' section on the left sidebar. Permitted file types currently include: png, jpg, jpeg, ogg, svg, mp3, pdf, gif. When on the 'Upload file' page, select 'Choose file', and a window will pop up, where you can select your desired picture. Select that, and you can add a short summary under the 'Summary' box. Then, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click 'Upload file' button. Once uploaded, you can then add the picture to any article by using [[File:Example.jpg]]. You can also select the button from the toolbar at the top edge of the edit box that corresponds to a picture (it's the fifth button from the left, 'Embedded file' will pop up when you hover your mouse pointer over the correct icon).
