Though brief, this page is quite good. It might be even better if it could include a link to a current auto-generated link of sysops/admins, and auto-generated info about those who are most active currently. And it might be a good place to put in a link to the Special:Statistics page. And if the statistics page had links to more stuff, like sysop list, various graphs for last days/months, then that would cover all bases... WikiIndex.com a été créé par Ray King et John Stanton en juin 2005 dans le but de référencer les sites wikis qu'ils jugaient à la fois intéressants et emblématiques de la communauté wiki (Ils avaient alors rassemblé environ 60 wikis). À la 1ère conférence WikiSym qui s'est tenue à San Diego en octobre 2005, Ray King et John Stanton ont joint leur effort à celui de MarkDilley qui avait commencé à lister plus de 1000 wikis sur le site SwitchWiki. Mark avait travaillé au SwitchWiki avec d'autres depuis 2003 et avait documenté ses idées sur le MeatballWiki OneBigWiki et le WikiNodes Wiki ProgressionofWikiOrganization. Les trois acteurs de la communauté wiki ont alors choisi de joindre leurs efforts pour mettre en place un wiki plus compréhensif.
