We are currently working on adding active [[:Category:Wikia|Wikia]] wikis and plan to continue to hit other wiki lists after that. Once we have enough in various [[:Category:Wiki Topic|topics]], we plan to start tying them together using [[:Category:Wikis with a WikiNode|WikiNodes]]. Very cool [[:Category:MediaWiki|MediaWiki]] feature, easy [[redirect]]ing what the [[Wiki main page|main page]] is, important because the [[:Category:WikiLogo|wiki logo]] maps to that page. https://WikiIndex.org/MediaWiki:Mainpage | |||
Yeah that's how I mapped the [[WikiIndex]] page to the logo earlier. I tried to delete the Main Page to get rid of the [[Redirect]]ed note at the top of the page. That did not work well for people that had bookmarks that included Main_Page. If you delete the Main_Page from any bookmarks you have and just use https://WikiIndex.org as your bookmark the [[redirect]] tag will not appear. Once we have enough in various topics, we plan to start tying them together using WikiNodes. Shall we try to use this page for recent news and events as Robin Patterson has suggested? Very cool MediaWiki feature, easy redirecting what the main page is, important because the wiki logo maps to that page. https://WikiIndex.org/MediaWiki:Mainpage
