2000 article milestone achieved![edit]

We are currently working on adding active Wikia wikis and plan to continue to hit other wiki lists after that. Once we have enough in various topics, we plan to start tying them together using WikiNodes. Shall we try to use this page for recent news and events as Robin Patterson has suggested? And if we do that should it be most recent on top? --Raymond King | talk 21:42, 18 Apr 2006 (EDT)

More thoughts / ideas[edit]

John, would you care to talk about WikiIndex/SwitchWiki stuff? -- Best, [MarkDilley]

Mark, I'll send you an Email today (1/9/2006)

Very cool MediaWiki feature, easy redirecting what the main page is, important because the wiki logo maps to that page. https://WikiIndex.org/MediaWiki:Mainpage

Yeah that's how I mapped the WikiIndex page to the logo earlier. I tried to delete the Main Page to get rid of the Redirected note at the top of the page. That did not work well for people that had bookmarks that included Main_Page. If you delete the Main_Page from any bookmarks you have and just use https://WikiIndex.org as your bookmark the redirect tag will not appear. John Stanton 12:41, 9 Mar 2006 (EST)

Yea, Main Page is a standard. I think it is cool now! Good find. :-) MarkDilley | talk

Hey, that's what I was talking about doing earlier! —User:Sean Fennel@ 17:22, 9 Mar 2006 (EST)
