has a consistently high volume of constructive editing (more than 50 edits per 24 hours)
That is a dilettantish construction. "Consistantly" is just another factor in the formula and should be named. Say 30 days equalling a month. So we would come to 50 * 30 edits in a month = 1.500 edits. Now, who is to control the "constructive" condition? Who is checking out and evaluating 1.500 edits? For the sake of sticking the vibrant medal to a wiki page? Who of You?? While spending so much time one could add more than 15 new wiki pages with full structure to our most incomplete collection and bring our wiki nearer to vibrant ;-) .
