The leader of a wiki is the principal, senior administrator in charge of the site; either by means of founding the wiki, or adopting a dormant and abandoned site.
The leader may be an active contributor and key member of the community of editors; or, as in the case of WikiIndex, may be 'hands-off'Ray King and leave the day-to-day running to another memberMarkDilley of the community.
