Patentage is a resource for the experimentalist, the technician and tinkerers. Patentage focuses on materials, tools, fabrication processes, and applied physics in general.
Articles, how-to guides and reference data are organized and written in a style relevant to the target audience. For example, articles related to materials, machine parts and tools will often contain links to immediately available items from online stores (which should conform to a number of standards).
Patentage uses various semantic enrichment techniques, so that complex searches (for example, "Show me a list of steel alloys available in round stock, sorted by weldability"), will be made possible.
