On the contrary it is intended to be a drupal based wiki for Alberta, Canada. We emphasize the directory so we can grow the user base, but as you will see from the key pages and content categories we are building and policing it as an informational wiki of the area. The challenge as I'm sure you know is to get people interested in editing, the best way to do this we find is to give them an incentive (in this case add their organization). From there it branches out into the organizations and regions they are associated with, and eventually the more rich and specific content will follow. We are developing an auto keyword glossary that will help us build a nice relational spiderweb of Alberta. | |||
