Unmaintained Free Software (UFS) is a GNU FDL-licensed wiki of unmaintained/orphaned Free Software projects which are in need of a new maintainer.

Goals

  • Draw attention to unmaintained projects, to help them find a new maintainer.
  • Provide a central place where you can find unmaintained projects.
  • Prevent code forks and duplicated work of multiple aspiring new maintainers.
  • Collect statistics about unmaintained projects and research the reasons why they become unmaintained.
