Category:Wikis with a strong viewpoint — many wiki editors are frustrated with the neutral point of view (NPOV) required in Wikipedia. To meet this, other wikis are developing where a specific point of view (POV) is acceptable, or even required. Wikis with a strong viewpoint are sometimes political, religious, or secular, or may have other viewpoints such as environmentalism, or other special interests. Some wikis with a strong viewpoint tolerate dissent. Others delete material that disagrees with their viewpoint, and treat edits against their viewpoint as vandalism. However, they may all be subjected to 'edit warring'.

Editors will frequently be comfortable with a wiki where they agree with the prevailing sentiment. Editors who want to argue and disagree with the established viewpoint of a wiki risk their work being deleted and can risk being banned.
