WikiIndex:Disambiguation — sometimes there are two, or more wikis or wiki-related subjects with the same or similar name; like GoWiki. Or there is a name that's just inherently ambiguous, like AnUnnamedUseModWiki. So to clarify, we disambiguate (commonly referred to as 'dab' in the wikisphere), and name them AmbiguousName (qualifier), where the 'qualifier' will be either its domain or host. Wikis of identical names available in different wiki languages will use their two-letter language identifier as the qualifier.

A disambiguation page will be created with the base page name, and will list actual page names of articles (without any 'piped' corrections) of all available articles. We do allow red links on disambiguation pages.

Examples

For example, AnUnnamedUseModWiki

AnUnnamedUseModWiki may refer to:

This is a disambiguation page:
containing a list of wiki site or wiki-related articles or
pages associated with the same or similar title(s).

Because its name is inherently ambiguous, we have added its domain name in parenthesis.

Another example is GoWiki.

GoWiki may refer to:

This is a disambiguation page:
containing a list of wiki site or wiki-related articles or
pages associated with the same or similar title(s).

Usage

Simply add the {{disambiguation}} template at the bottom of the relevant disambiguation article edit box (but above any categories, and save your edit.
