What do we mean when we say Panopedia is free and familiar? It is free in the sense that it is freely available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivs 2.5 license (CC-BY-ND 2.5), and it is familiar in the sense that authors are transparent. You can clearly identify who wrote an article and become familiar with that author. Like the Wikipedia, Panopedia is a free user contributed encyclopedia.
