Category: FindDeadURLs — this category here on WikiIndex will contain wiki articles and / or other categories which have dead external link(s) (URL) in their prose (but not including primary links in their infoboxes). This will hopefully prompt other editors to search for updated URLs (if the original URL schema has subsequently been revised, or it is hosted on a new domain). Or if the actual wiki site (or wiki farm or wiki engine) is dead; search the online archives for said dead external links; maybe somewhere like the WaybackMachine from the Internet Archive at Web.Archive.org, or the Archive Today at archive.is. Articles and / or sub-categories are automatically included in this specific category when the {{DeadEL}} template (with a rendered yellow background) is used.
