[permanent dead link]
- Usage
This housekeeping template is meant for tagging any external links which are permanently unreachable (dead, 404 error, redirect to domain registration or search engine site, etc). Efforts have already been made to search for archived URLs at both the Internet Archive WaybackMachine at Archive.org and Archive Today at archive.is; but no archived snapshot was found. Please do not delete said dead link, instead, just tag the dead link by adding {{PermanentDeadEL}}
at the end of the URL. This will advise others there is no further need to search the two main online archive services, though other (lesser-known or unknown) archiving services might still have saved said URL.
