Transhumanists are people who support the use of science and technology to improve human mental and physical characteristics and capacities. Some human beings may eventually transform themselves into beings with such greatly expanded abilities as to merit the label 'posthuman'. While in general, transhumanists support such transformations, they also are concerned about the dangers of some particular paths.
The Transhumanist Wiki is meant to be an open wiki for transhumanists or anyone who is interested. This is a place to discuss general futurology, transhumanism, artificial intelligence, existential risk, molecular nanotechnology, synthetic biology, the singularity, advanced technology, and human enhancement.
Dead since late-2011.
