The Wax Drum is primarily a collection of Mac OS X tips for geek wannabes like the author. After years of compiling tips and tricks from various resources like MacAddict magazine, macosxhints.com, and his vast <cough> knowlege of deprecated Unix commands, Charles Estabrooks decided to publish them somewhere they're less likely to be lost, forgotten, or deleted.
After a bit of perusing, you will also find information about digital audio solutions to various problems like converting, playback, software, and so on.
A photographer by day, Charles wastes his valuable leisure time researching obscure methods of performing trivial tasks, sailboat racing, and learning to play electric bass.
