Sponsored by Penguin Books and De Montfort University, A Million Penguins was a wikinovel experiment where anyone could write and anyone can edit a novel-in-progress.
The site's content became parking space after late 2010, when the domain expired. All seven sections are preserved at the Internet Archive as of November 2013:
